Our aim
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We are building accessibility into the website through clear structure, readable contrast, keyboard access, descriptive link text, text alternatives for meaningful images and layouts that adapt to different screen sizes.
Using the site
You should be able to zoom the page, navigate interactive elements using a keyboard, use a screen reader with page headings and landmarks, and complete the Research Operations Health Check without a mouse.
Known limitations
We continue to test the site and do not claim that every part is fully compliant. Some external services linked from this website, including the booking service, are outside our control. Older documents or third-party materials may not offer the same level of accessibility as the main website.
Tell us about a problem
If something is difficult to use, or you need information in another format, email service@rkesupport.com. Please tell us which page or content you were using and, if useful, the browser or assistive technology involved. We will acknowledge the request and work with you on a reasonable alternative.
How we review accessibility
We review accessibility when we add significant content or functionality and use a combination of automated checks and manual keyboard, structure and responsive-layout testing. This statement will be updated as testing identifies improvements or limitations.
